NTS: Checking of construction drawings before sending out!

1) Make sure “tail” is the same size!

2) Try to avoid tilted angles for dimension arrows if possible

3) Align all text to same direction and justification

4) Centralise drawings

5) Annotation bubble location to be consistent in every drawing (especially during PDF viewing)

6) Snap arrowhead to edge and middle of selected object at all times

7) Avoid crisscrossing dimension lines

Always think for the person you’re sending to, if the information is relevant and helpful even if it’s not requested!
